An experienced varsity fencing team will face Bradford-Durfee in its opening match of the season this afternoon at 3 p.m. in the I.A.B.
Fencing in the sabre division will b John Kennedy, Roger Barsun, and Alan Chalmers. Bill Bennett, John Reckier, and Peter Piazza will start in the epee class. On the foil team are Ted Boersma, Walt Macbeth, and Lonny Wheeler.

With a "seasoned, deep" sabre team, a "pretty effective" epee division, and "two strong" foil men, he indicated that today's match should be an easy one. The match against M.I.T., Wednesday, however, will be the team's first test, he warned.
