Brinton Will Feature Films in TV Course

Films of some of the major revolutions of the 20th century will dramatize "The Anatomy of Revolution," which Crane Brinton '19, McLean Professor of Ancient and Modern History, will teach as an extension course this Spring over WGBH-TV.

The course, based on Brinton's book of the same title, will be illustrated with films of the rise of Hitler and Mussolini, the Russian Revolution, the Hungarian Uprising, and the Cuban revolt.

Robert G. Albion, Gardiner Professor of Oceanic History and Affairs, will continue to teach his full year course in European Imperialism, also over television.

By coming to occasional conferences and taking a final examination here, those who register for the course may obtain credit toward the Adjunct in Arts degree which requires 17 full course credits.
