A proposed design for a redevelopment project on Mt. Auburn St. has won a citation in the Design Awards Program of "Progressive Architecture," a national architectural magazine. Architect for the plan is Edwin T. Steffian, and Royston T. Daley the designer.
The design is for the Riverview project, a residential development planned for an area near Stillman infirmary. The Cambridge Redevelopment Authority, however, has not yet announced its choice of architect for the Riverview project.
Among the jurors selecting the prize-winning design was Jose Louis Sert, dean of the School of Design.
