The varsity squash team, after suffering a first round defeat in the national team championships this weekend, rebounded to top a weak Dartmouth squad, 8 to 1, yesterday afternoon at Hemenway gymnasium. Only captain Charlie Hamm, playing at first singles in place of the injured Gerry Emmet, lost in a four game match to Dick Hoehu, 15-12, 10-15, 15-10 and 15-10.
Hohen's excellently placed drives controlled the match and for the most part he was content either to let Hamm make the errors or draw him out of position for easy put-away shots.
The only other contested match was in the seconds singles position where Tim Gallwey downed John Horan, 9-15, 18-17, 7-15, 15-2 and 15-10.
