Dobrivoje Vidic, Yugoslavian Ambassador to the United Nations, will visit the University today and speak on "Problems of Coexistence" tonight at 8 p.m. in Emerson D, at a meeting open to the public.
Vidic will meet with President Pusey during the morning and will lunch with undergraduates at Lowell House. He is scheduled to have cocktails and dinner with three professors at Lowell.
Zbigniew K. Brzezinski, assistant professor of Government, Horace G. Lunt II '41, associate professor of Slavic Languages and Literatures, and Adam B. Ulam, associate professor of Government, have expressed interested in meeting the Ambassador at that time.
Vidic will be greeted by J. Hampden Robb, '21, University Marshal, when he arrives at 10 a.m. He will then be conducted to the Preacher's Room in Lowell, which has been offered to him as headquarters for the day.
The United Nations Council arranged Vidic's visit to the University after three months of correspondence. Elliott Perkins '23, Master of Lowell House, also helped to plan the visit.
Vidic, who has been in diplomatic service since 1951, has served in the Yugoslav Embassy in London, and was previously Ambassador to Moscow.
