The Harvard Young Democratic Club's general membership meeting will vote tomorrow on a proposed merger with the Radcliffe Young Democratic Club. Two years ago a similar proposal failed to gain the two-thirds vote required for approval.
Members will also hear a motion to support the University's stand on the loyalty oath provision of the National Defense Education Act.
The Club's Executive Committee is expected to push for a motion that the HYDC start campaigning for the election of William S. Barnes, assistant Dean of the Law School, to the Cambridge School Committee, and for the re-election of Joseph A. DeGuglielmo '29, Cambridge City Councillor.
Two freshmen will be elected to serve as members of the Club's Executive Committee.
