A total of 7,513 contributors gave $483,396.66 to the Law School this year, the School Bulletin revealed in its October issue.
The 1959 campaign, ninth in a current series, netted close to $50,000 more than the best previous attempt and gathered funds from 45 per cent of the alumni. Non-alumni contributions amounted to nearly $60,000 and raised the average gift in the campaign from $58.36 to $64.34.
The largest class contribution came from the Class of 1909, which gave $39,825.28--almost double the gift of any other class.
