New Policies Begun At Harkness Meals

A series of new regulations took effect yesterday at Harkness Commons dining hall which should help mollify graduate student complaints against Administration attempts to economize at mealtime.

Under the new rules, there will be no waiting at breakfast time, since there will be a second line from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m., the time of the greatest rush; there will be seconds on coffee and tea at all times; the extra dessert charge will be cut from 15 to 10 cents; and students will be allowed a combination of two juices or fruits.

Livingston Hall, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law, reported that the innovations were made after consultation with "a great many students" and several recommendations by the Graduate Student Council.
