By winning last night on Watson ice, Dudley and Eliot maintained their first place tie in the intramural hockey league. Third-place Adams kept pace with the leaders by defeating Lowell, 5 to 0.
Dudley won over Kirkland by a 7-2 margin and Eliot shut out Winthrop, 4 to 0. In the final contest of the evening, Dunster trounced a hapless Leverett team, 8 to 0.
The most important game of the season is Thursday night, when Dudley and Eliot battle for first place.
Continuing a tradition initiated by the CRIMSON in 1951, the league will divide up into two 15-man all-star teams to complete the season. The Wintergreens, selected from the squads of Winthrop, Adams, Dunster, and Eliot, will oppose the Rineharts, chosen from the four other House teams, Tuesday night, March 18, at 7 p.m. at Watson Rink.
Originally, there were all-star contests in football and basketball, also, but these have since been discontinued.
