Winthrop House climbed into first place in the League A House basketball tournament, with a victory over Lowell House Monday night. Winthrop, with eight wins and two losses, is closely followed by Kirkland, and Leverett with 7-2 and 7-3 records respectively.
Rounding out the rest of League A are Lowell House, 6-4; Dunster, 4-6; Adams, 3-6; Eliot, 2-7; and Dudley 1-8. With the exception of Winthrop's rise into first place, the league standings have not changed since February 14.
In League B, Dunster House occupies first place with an 8-2 record. With its win over Lowell's B team Monday night, Winthrop now has taken over second place. Kirkland, displaced from second, is now in third with a 6-3 record.
The standing of the remainder of League B is: Leverett 6-4, Lowell 4-6, Adams 3-6, Dudley 2-7, and Eliot 2-7.
