Lawson Injured, Out of Brown Tilt

The Crimson's first string right half-back Tom Lawson will miss the Brown game because of a bruised leg suffered in last week's Princeton encounter. Doctors will not say whether he can play against Yale, but they feel it is probable.

To replace Lawson in the right-half slot, Coach John Yovicsin has not yet decided between Albie Cullen or Larry Repsher.

In addition, left-half Chet Boulris has been practicing with the "B" squad this week, but Yovicsin emphasized that this in no way meant he had demoted his star runner. "I'm just shaking up the team to give some of the boys a boost," the coach stated. Don Gerety and Bruce McIntyre have shared the left-half post thus far this week.

Yovicsin denied published reports that he was punishing Boulris for any disciplinary reasons. He cited the example of end Stu Hershon, who practiced with the B's for part of last week but started in the Princeton game. Hershon then played "his best game this year," said Yovicisin.

Also, sophomore back Glenn Haughie was promoted to second string fullback at yesterday's practice.

Though he does not plan to make his starting lineup until Friday, Yovicsin said that he plans no changes in the line.
