'Cliffe Student Government Votes Merger of Music Organizations

The Radcliffe S.G.A. voted yesterday to approve the merger of the Harvard and Radcliffe Music Clubs.

However, before positive action toward merger can be taken, the measure must be approved by the Radcliffe administration, Harvard Student Council, and the Faculty Committee on Extra-Curricular Activities.

The S.G.A. also voted to allow Radcliffe students to hold positions on the four boards of the CRIMSON. In the past, Radcliffe members could only be on the "Radcliffe Board," as opposed to the news, editorial, photographic, or business divisions of the paper.

Besides making girls eligible for all executive positions on the CRIMSON, the measure would give them voting privileges. Martha E. Miller '59, who presented the petition for merger, explained that the measure had been approved last spring by the necessary two-thirds vote of the CRIMSON board.

Nina Rolnick '59, chairman of Grant-In-Aid, announced that the annual auction has been postponed to Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2-6 p.m. in the Radcliffe Quad. In case of rain, it will be held the following Thursday.
