A service in memory of the late Stefan Valavanis, assistant professor of Economics, will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow in Memorial Chapel.
Valavanis, a resident tutor of Leverett House, was killed while camping near Mt. Olympus in Greece last July by an army deserter who mistook him for a pursuing officer.
Richard T. Gill '48, Allston Burr Senior Tutor of Leverett House, described Valavanis yesterday as "not only as an outstanding scholar, but also an excellent teacher."
