A confident Crimson fencing team opens its season tomorrow against Cornell. The sabre squad will be headed by previous All-American Mitchell Thomas in the match to be played at Ithaca. Douglas Rennels, an All-Ivy fencer with Thomas last year, fills the No. 2 spot. Manuel Cabral and Michael Woolf complete the heavily favored Crimson squad.
The foil team is also highly experienced with essentially the same lineup as last year's team.
The epee squad is probably the weakest part of the team because of its limited experience. Squad members are Bruce Parker, Anthony Enders, and Andre Nikitine.
