The Crimson rugby team will be out to complete a perfect Eastern League record tomorrow at 3:15 p.m. as it meets Yale on the House Football Field in the final match of the season.
Despite the proverbial unpredictability of a Harvard-Yale game, the odds today must favor the Crimson. The Elis, who are big enough to draw comments from the elephantine California squad on their size, have had only partial success in attempting to compensate for their lack of finesse with aggressiveness.
Partly as a result of this over-energetic approach, Yale has a long injury list. The Crimson is at full strength.
Several local standouts will be playing their last match for the Crimson this afternoon, including flank John Chalsty from the Business School and including seniors Jim Joslin at fly-half, Joe Conzelman in the centre, Ron Eikenberry on the wing, and Bill Shane and captain Terry Turner in the forwards.
Rounding out the threequarters are fullback Jim Damis, Scots scrum-half Alan Waddell, Hal Churchill, and Mike Reynal. The other forwards will be Charlie Eaton, Ash Hallett, Tom Fritz, Stan Merkel, and Alastair Rellie.
