Lacrosse Ten To Play Tiger Team Saturday

The varsity lacrosse team can only be rated a solid underdog when it travels to New Jersey tomorrow to take on the Princeton squad, for the Tigers are high among the favorites to win the Ivy League lacrosse championship.

The Princeton team, greatly improved since last year by the addition of sophomore strength, has been overwhelming in league play so far.

Too Few Shots

The Crimson played well to hold the powerful University of New Hampshire squad to a 3 to 2 victory on Wednesday, but it is still plagued by a tendency to pass up scoring opportunities by taking too few shots at the opponents' goal. Mike Shaw, who has scored six goals in the last two games, has proved himself to be an excellent crease man, but he has not been getting enough passes from his teammates.

Dick Pille, who has been out of action with an injury for two weeks, will make the trip tomorrow and may start in the game, if in condition.

If Pille does not play, the Crimson will open with Shaw, Jerry Cotter, and Dub Mallonee at attack.
