Business Course At Radcliffe Gets $28,000 Donation

Radcliffe has received a gift of $28,000 for the Harvard-Radcliffe Program in Business Administration, President Wilbur K. Jordan announced today.

The sum was the donation of Mrs. Clement A. Smith of Cambridge, a trustee of the college and member of the advisory committee of the business training program. The income from the gift will be used for grants for graduate work, fellowships for foreign students, and special research projects.

The Harvard-Radcliffe Program in Business Administration is a one year graduate course for women, and it is sponsored jointly by Radcliffe and the Harvard Business School. The course gives training for junior administrative positions in business, government, community agencies, and educational institutions.

Two full-time job assignments of ten weeks each are integrated with 26 weeks of classroom work at Radcliffe. The case method is used for classroom instruction, taught primarily by members of the Business School faculty.
