The freshman lacrosse team easily outclassed an inexperienced M.I.T. squad, 17-1, yesterday to bring its season record to one win and one defeat.
The Yardling attack controlled the ball throughout almost the whole game, as Phil Hudner and John Righter each scored five goals.
Yardling goalie Tom Day made ten saves, allowing the lone Tech score when two players were out on penalties.
At the end of the game the team elected Hudner captain.
Herb Schreiner will pitch for the J.V. baseball squad today when the Crimson faces the Quonset Point Naval Air Base in a rescheduled game at Quonset Point.
