Steyskal Found Guilty by Jury

The former Divinity School student who threatened to kill President Pusey was indicted yesterday by a Federal grand jury in Boston.

Joseph C. Steyskal, a native of Yugoslavia, was arrested in Sun Valley, Idaho, on February 16 after FBI agents had traced him as the author of threatening letters addressed to President Pusey.

Steyskal attended the Divinity School in 1953 and 1954. He was reportedly upset because the University had rejected his applications for a teaching position. Dana L. Farnsworth, director of the University Health Services said last week that "the man is paranoid."

Steyskal was transported to Boston last week, and was indicted yesterday on charges of sending threatening letters through the mails.
