The freshman swimming team returned to the win column Saturday by clipping St. George's School 56 to 21. The Yardlings lost only the 50-yard freestyle, which was one by Toth in 26 seconds flat, and the 150-yard individual medley, which Moran won for St. George in 1:48.1.
First Yardling win was Nash with a 1:09 in the 100-yard breaststroke; Jim Flug won the 200-yard freestyle in 2:14.8; and Gary Pildner covered the 100-yard backstroke distance in a winning 1:03.
Bill Boeckler won the 100-yard freestyle with what for him was a relatively slow time of 54.8; Boeckler tied the Harvard freshman record in the Dartmouth meet a week ago, swimming the distance in 53.0.
Pete Lewy took the one-meter dive for the Yardlings, amassing 60.73 points; the freshmen finished the meet by taking the 200-yard medley and freestyle relays, the first in 1:55 and the second in 1:45.
