Three Harvard professors have completed a joint survey with two city planning experts on housing and transportation problems in the Boston Metropolitan area. The survey was made specifically for publication by the Americans for Democratic Action.
Samuel H. Beer, chairman of the department of Government, and state chairman of the ADA, Arnold M. Soloway, assistant professor of Economics, and Norton E. Long '32, visiting professor of Government, collaborated with the experts in preparing the report.
The report recommended the establishment of an agency of experts on metropolitan planning that would serve in an advisory capacity to the Governor.
