Squash Team Plays Army Match Today, Seeks Second Win

The varsity squash team travels to West Point to oppose Army this afternoon. With an easy win over perennially weak Wesleyan under its belt, the team will be seeking its second victory of the season in intercollegiate play.

Army will provide much stiffer opposition, however, than did Wesleyan. The Cadets are a well-coached, well-conditioned team, which can play just as strongly at the end of a match as it can at the beginning. They will be the first real test of the varsity's ability, and, although the Crimson will probably win handily, its performance should give an indication of what is in store for the rest of the year.

Larry Sears, number three man on last year's varsity, will be at the first singles position, followed by Charlie Hamm, Gerry Emmet, captain of last year's freshman team, Henry Cortesi, Pete Lund, Charlie Poletti, Ed Wadsworth. John Davis, and Fred Vinton at second through ninth singles respectively.
