An excellent Williams golf team extended its undefeated skein to ten straight at the expense of the varsity yesterday at Williamstown, winning 6 1/2 to 1/2.

Bill McAllister gained the Crimson's half-point by tying Bill Chapman in the number three match; the match was even after 18 holes when play was called because of darkness.

At one, Williams' Randy Carey outclassed Brock Stokes, winning 6 and 5 on the strength of his three over par scoring. Morgan Coleman, hitting fine recovery shots and putting accurately, downed Lou Klein, 2 up, in the number two match, while Perry Driggs lost at four, 2 up, on the final hole.

In the remaining matches, the Ephmen won by sizable margins. At five, Roger Fleischman was erratic and bowed to Pete French, 3 and 2, and John Boyd, blasting his irons with power and precision, eliminated Dave Beadie, 5 and 3, at the number six slot. Bob Foster beat Alan Steinert 2 and 1 in the final match.

Both the varsity and freshman teams will be underdogs in their matches with strong Yale squads today at New Haven.
