Crimson Lacrosse Team Nips Indians

The varsity lacrosse team gave its critics a kick in the shins and threw the League standings into confusion Saturday by sneaking around the top-rated Dartmouth Indians, 11 to 10. The unexpected victory, a thing rare in Crimson lacrosse circles this season, tacked the varsity into fourth place in the EILL.

Top scorers in the varsity's Saturday win were Captain Dexter Lewis and Don Dawidoff, each tallying three times. Tim Draper contributed a pair and Mac Hyde, Dub Malonee, and Mike Smith finished up the victory with one each.

Scoring margins see-sawed continually but in the end the varsity slipped home with self respect somewhere in its possession. "We really belixed the woggle," summed a Crimson player.
