The varsity golf team concluded an undistinguished season this weekend by splitting its final two matches, beating Penn 4 to 3 on Friday and losing to Dartmouth by the same score on the following day. The split gave the Crimson a 5-8 season's record, exclusive of tournament play.

With the score at three all on Friday, Lou Klein provided the slim margin of victory by edging his opponent on the nineteenth hole.

The Dartmouth match was closer than was expected, as Dartmouth had compiled a very creditable 13-4 record.

The Yardling team completed a 3-3 season on a sour note Saturday by bowing to the small Indians, 5 to 2. Mike Taylor and Bob Grundeman were the successful Yardlings.
