The freshman tennis team bowed to the Elis, 7 to 2, Saturday in a match played under a blazing New Haven sun. Only fifth and sixth men John Tamerin and Tim Haskins won their matches, in three sets each. Captain Jim Cameron lost to Yale's Tom Freidberg in only two sets, 6-2, 6-1.
Ned Weld in the number two spot dropped a three-set match to Mait Jones.
