A powerful Exeter Academy lacrosse team pounded a stubborn '59 aggregation 16-2, yesterday on Soldiers Field.

The Crimson, although definitely outclassed by their more experienced opponents, played its best lacrosse of the year in the third period when it held Exeter to only one score. Captain John Pille scored both goals for the freshmen. Three lineup changes for yesterday's game saw Jerry Pyle start as attackman, Bob Hoen move to midfieldman, and Dave Birch take over on defense.

In its last match, the Yardlings went down to defeat, 7 to 4, at the hands of Tabor Academy.
