Ten members of the University teaching staff received research grants from the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation, yesterday.
In the sciences, Jerome S. Bruner, professor of Psychology, Kenneth J. Conant, professor of Architecture, Harold D. Levine '29, clinical associate in Medicine, Eugene G. Richow, professor of Chemistry, and Carroll M. Williams, professor of Zoology, won awards.
Dmitry Cizevsky, lecturer on Slavic, Carl J. Friedrich, Eaton Professor of the Science of Government, John K. Galbraith, professor of Economics, Carl Kaysen, associate professor of Economics, and Francis P. Magoun, Jr. '16, professor of English, also received fellowships.
