BASKETBALL
Coach Bruce Munro's "tall men" will meet Brown's freshman basketball team tomorrow in their toughest game since Christmas vacation. The freshman quintet has a five and one record, its only defeat coming from a strong Dartmouth team.
The Crimson has good potential. The squad has successfully combined height and speed in its games this year. Captain George Harrington, a 5 foot 7 inch guard, has been the standout player.
HOCKEY
A powerful freshman hockey team, undefeated in eight games, will travel to Concord, N.H., Saturday to face St. Paul's School. Last year's squad swamped the preparatory school in piling up a 21-1 season record.
With impressive wins over such strong teams as B.U., Northeastern, and Brown, the freshman sextet offers good prospects for next year's varsity. Captain George Higginbottom and Dick Reilly have played well this season.
TRACK
The freshman track team will face Exeter Saturday in its second meet this year. The squad previously defeated B.U., 84 to 24.
In the K. of C. and the B.A.A. games, Joel Landau and Sandy Dodge both ran the dashes for the Crimson. Although neither reached the finals, they both hold promise for the future.
SQUASH
The Yarding squash team enters the second half of its season with a 3-0 record in intercollegiae competition. The "A" squad has a 9-1 record in league play.
The Crimson has shown enough depth and strength in preliminary matches to finish the season undefeated. The "B" squad lost to Brooks School yesterday.
SWIMMING
Capt. Dick Seaton will lead the freshman swimming team in its second meet of the year Saturday against Exeter. The Yardlings beat Andover 47 to 30 in their only other match of the year. Seaton finished first in the Andover meet in both the 100 and the 220 yard free-style races.
