The Harvard fencers lost to Princeton, 16 to 11 Saturday.
The match remained close until the epee team collapsed. Foil had won 6 to 3 and sabre lost narrowly 5 to 4. Epee's record of one win to eight losses ruined the Crimson's otherwise strong showing against a heavily favored Princeton Team.
Captain Steve Schneider won his three matches to lead the foil and Dave Silbert won two of three sabre matches.
