The varsity squash team will put a record of four consecutive shutout victories on the line tonight when it seeks the sixth straight win of its undefeated season over Princeton at 7:30 p.m. in Hemenway Gymnasium.

The Crimson will be the favorite because of its 6-3 win over Navy, which later trounced Princeton 7 to 2. Last year Princeton, lead by Rodger Campbell, intercollegiate champion, won the national championship and defeated the varsity, 7 to 2.

The Crimson line-up will be changed for the match, with Cal Place taking over the number two position from captain Pete Milton who moved down to the third slot. Lanny Thomas, because of lack of recent practice, will move off the team for this one match, and Larry Sears will play in the eighth position, followed by Dwight Davis, playing in varsity ranks for the first time.

Team in Nationals

Immediately after the match, the varsity heads for Hartford for the National Squash Championships Saturday and Sunday. Ben Heckscher will compete in the individual championship against such players as top seeded Henri Salaun and G. Diehl Mateer, both former national champions.

A team of Cal Place, Pete Milton, Lee Folger, Charlie MacVeagh, and Larry Sears will play in the team championships against groups from New York, and Philadelphia and the Far West. They will open against Canada at 9:00 a.m. tomorrow.

The Crimson is the only college squad ever to have won the team championship, having captured the championship six times.
