An early morning crowd of 12 saw the Harvard Phi Beta Kappa team avenge its last year's defeat with a 24 to 6 triumph over the Yale PBK team.
Early in the first period, Ralph Himmelhoch, only slightly hampered by the loss of his glasses, snared a long pass from Pete Stearns for the first Crimson score. Yale retaliated with a long, slow march down the field ending in Captain Leo Bearman's two yard surge for the first Eli tally.
The Crimson went back into the lead to stay when Glenn Lee snagged a 30 yard pass and raced over the goal line. Pete Stearns ran 10 yards for the third Harvard score, and later passed to Jim Gibbons for the final score.
The other scheduled touch game, Winthrop vs. Pierson College, was forfeited when Pierson failed to field a team.
