The Crimson eleven went through a closed practice yesterday, which included a 25-minute scrimmage. Coach Lloyd Jordan was impressed with the team's defensive work, especially the guard play of Captain Ted Metropoulos, Woody Harris, and Hal Anderson. He said he was still undecided as to which of the last two to start along with Metropoulos.

High scorer Walt Stahura did not work out, and Ron Eikenberry only practiced lightly. Nat Dodge and Marsh Levin worked out at left halfback.
