A student leader in the recent Hungarian revolution will give an eyewitness account of the present situation in that war-torn nation tomorrow night at 8 p.m. in New Lecture Hall.
Istvan Laszlo, who engaged in desperate street fighting as a youth leader in the county in which the University of Sopron is located, escaped from Hungary 12 days ago with Anna Kethly, Minister of State in the government of Imre Nagy. Laszlo has been in this country since Nov. 5.
The meeting will be jointly sponsored by the Student Council and the CRIMSON. The meeting will kick-off a nationwide tour organized for Laszlo by the National Student Association.
Zbigniew K. Brzezinski, assistant professor of Government and expert on the Soviet Union and its satellites, will present introductory analytical remarks.
Student life in nations like Hungary will be discussed tonight at 7:15 p.m. in Holmes Hall at Radcliffe by Luigi Einaudi '57. His speech is entitled "Education by Terror."
