The Crimson varsity hockey team will play its first game of the season at Providence College on Dec. 6, it was announced last night.
The first chance local fans will have to look over the stickmen will be on Dec. 18 at the Boston Arena, again against Providence College.
Watson Memorial Rink, accommodating only 1600 fans, is used for intramural competition and many varsity games. The Arena is sometimes used for varsity games.
It was also announced last night that the Christmas Tournament, a Boston area college round robin match, is definitely on this season's schedule.
