Joslin Improving; Varsity Works on Defense Patterns

Right halfback Jim Joslin, in his first contact scrimmage since he injured his left knee against Cornell, looked "as well as could be expected in his first time out," according to Coach Lloyd Jordan.

He will probably see only limited action against Dartmouth Saturday, however.

Most of yesterday's practice was spent on offense, with John Simourian and Matt Botsford alternating as usual in running the team out of the A-formation. The freshman squad provided the defense, and also ran several trick kicks of the sort that the Crimson expects Dartmouth to use.
