ITHACA, N.Y., Oct. 12--More than 3000 alumni will return to Ithaca tomorrow on homecoming weekend with high hopes for a Big Red football victory over the underdog Crimson eleven. The student body itself is taking the situation somewhat more calmly with the exception of an "Upset Harvard's 'T' Party" automobile rally and parade tonight.
The incoming alumni will be feted with barbecues, parties, dances, athletic events, and the Cornell band. Most important of the scheduled activities will be the annual meeting of the Federation of Cornell Men's Clubs in Statler Hall after the game. Fifty-two official delegates will attend.
Enthusiasm for the game is somewhat limited as the Crimson is not considered by the Cornell student body as formidable opposition. Any football weekend. however, affords a welcome excuse for big fraternity and sorority parties. This figures to be such a weekend.
Only 150 tickets for tomorrow's game were sold at Cambridge, indicating a reluctance of Harvard men to travel 350 miles, even for a good party.
