The Department of Athletics has granted a reprieve to all students unable to fill their football ticket applications on Monday. The reddish brown application chutes to the right of the H.A.A. door on 60 Boylston St. will be open from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. today.
This exception to the usual application arrangement applies to the UMass game only and comes as the result of the Yom Kippur holiday on Monday. Frank O. Lunden, H.A.A. manager, will give the late applicants "the best seats we can," although he said he will be unable to seat them in their regular class priority seats.
Lunden's statement reads: "For those students who of necessity were unable to file their student applications for the Massachusetts game, the student ticket box will be open for this game only on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m."
