The Liberal Union was sorry last night. So were over a hundred students who showed up at New Lecture Hall to see "Grapes of Wrath," only to learn that the picture had failed to arrive.
Philippe Villers '55, HLU president, last night could announce no postponement, but said he hoped that the film will be shown "at some future time."
Films, Inc. in New York stated the picture was sent out Monday, although a search by the Boston post office revealed no trees of it. Villers called New York to have another copy of the film down up, but the one originally sent was found to be the only available one in this area.
Villers refunded money for many of the tickets at the door last night, but those still holding tickets should take them to the CRIMSON building at 14 Plympton St. for their refund. "We are sorry about the inconvenience to the many who showed up," Villers said.
