Debaters Win Two Invitation Contests

Harvard Debate Council entries won two weekend competitions, the Dartmouth Invitational Tournament and another invitation at the University of Buffalo.

Competing with 16 of the top eastern schools in the Dartmouth tourney, two Crimson teams of two men each compiled 5 and 1 records, winning the trophy for the best college entry. Robert H. King '57, also placed third in the individual speaker rankings.

Robert C. Anderson '56, George M. Frederickson '56, King, and Robert M. O'Neil '56 competed at Dartmouth. In the Buffalo tourney, Robert W. Scrivner '57 tied for the top speaking honors. The remainder of the winning Harvard squad were Toby Cetrin '56, David H. Morse '56, and D. Frank Hayden '57.
