Four Gain All-Star Soccer Berths

Grey Hodnett, Stacay Holmes, Ken McIntosh, and Hugh Sargent, members of the Crimson's championship soccer squad, have been named to the All-New England first team.

Sargent, the out-going captain, was chosen at left fullback, and Hodnett captain and the team's leading scorer with 11 goals, was named to inside left. Holmes was chosen at center halfback, and McIntosh pitched at outside right.

The Crimson players were chosen to the second team, but honorable mentions went to inside right Dick Fisher, who broke his leg after the MIT game, and to outside left Hank Holmes and center forward had Tubtness.

The Crimson has been awarded the Sampson Cup for winning the New England League this season, a title it gained by downing Yale, 2 to 1, in overtime in the last game of the year.

Others named to the first team were Dartmouth players Clint Malin, goalie, Walter Pugh, left halfback, and Egil Stigum, center forward. Also right fullback Richard Tingley and right halfback Robert Lueft of Springfield.
