Secrecy again cloaked varsity football practice, as the team readied for Saturday's game at New Haven. As in past years, workouts have been closed to the press and public all week. In a post-drill conference, however, Coach Lloyd Jordan told reporters that "We've made progress this week--we think. We've had some good practice sessions." He added that yesterday's drill consisted of signal drills on both offense and defense against the JVs working out of an Eli T-formation.
Meanwhile, at New Haven, Jordan Olivar sent the Yale varsity against his JV's, playing a Crimson-style single-wing formation.
