The Crimson today will field a football team with an attack much different from varsity coach Lloyd Jordan's single wing. In fact, this eleven's offense will be an A-formation variation of the T, patterned after that of the opposition, Dartmouth.

When Coach Norm Shepard's junior varsity begins its Hanover contest at 2 p.m. it will employ the same offense it has practiced all week against the varsity.

Most Jayvee players hope to advance to the varsity; this hope was so well realized this year that only one regular returned.

With practically the entire squad gone Coach Shepard faces an extensive rebuilding job. He is further limited by the comparative weakness of last year's freshman B team, which has supplied most of his material for this season.

Assisted ably by Henry Lamar, who doubles as a varsity scout, and Dick Sprague 3L, former All-American halfback with the University of Washington, Shepard coached last year's squad to five wins against one defeat, including decisive triumphs over Yale and Princeton.

Only one regular remains from that team, Jack Evjy. The best varsity prospect on the team, said Shepard, Evjy is a tall fast end.

With the exception of two other members of last year's squad, left and Joe Stein and right halfback Ray Henry, the entire first team is now. Tackles Joe George and Bill Raymond, guards Eddie Harding and John Parkinson, and center Mike Pritchard fill out the line.

Jack Hennessey runs the team from his quarterback spot, providing the passing threat. Al Stenior plays left half, while Dave Hoffman handles the fullback chores.
