W. Scott Cooledege III '55, of Winthrop House and Arlington, Mass., was elected captain of the Crimson sextet for 1954-55 yesterday afternoon.

A two-year veteran, Cooledge was right wing on the high scoring second line and third highest individual scorer on the squad. Skating with Doug Manchester and sophomore Joe Crehore, Cooledge scored 12 goals to place second on the team in total goals scored during the season.

At the same time it was announced that Doug Manchester was the varsity's leading scorer this winter. Manchester scored three goals and 21 assists for a total of 24 points. Second to Manchester was Captain Norm Wood with 22 points. Wood was the team's leader in total goals scored with a total of 14.

Sophomore Bill Cleary scored 14 points, an unusually high total in that he missed the first half of the season. Leading scorer among the team's defensemen was Ed Mrkonich, with ten points.
