On the House

Eliot House strengthened its chances of regaining the Strauss Trophy last week by Capturing the inter-House swimming championship. The Elephants finished their season with an unblemished 7-0 record.

Kirkland and Winthrop both lost to Eliot, but managed to defeat five out of six remaining opponents to tie for second. The champions downed Kirkland 44-4 in the most one-sided meet of the season.

Leverett (3-2-2) edged out Dunster (3-3-1) for fourth place, while Adams (2-5-0), Dudley (1-5-1), and Lowell (0-7-0) filled out the second division. The entire Eliot House squad will travel to New Haven, March 30, to meet the Yale intramural champions.

Dunster Leads Squash

In squash, Dunster continues to lead the A league. With the season's scheduled near completion, the Dunces lead second place Lowell by a full three games. Eliot, which led the league at mid-season, has slipped to third, two and a half games behind the Bellboys. Leverett, Winthrop, and Adams are grouped together inforth, fifth, and sixth placed, with Kirkland far behind.

In B League play, Lowell remains in first place, while Dunster leads the C League.

Dudley continues the leader of the hockey league, although Eliot has put an end to the Dragons' hopes for an undefeated season. The second place Elephants topped the commuters, 4-0 last Thursday. Winthrop, in third place, still holds a mathematical chance for the title.
