Taking seven out of ten events and showing more of its versatility, the varsity swimming team sank Army, 56 to 28, at West Point on Saturday to maintain its perfect record.

This was the varsity's first Eastern intercollegiate Swimming League meet of the season, and its first test since mid-year exams. The varsity now has four victories.

In downing Army the Crimson did not match Yale's score of 65-9, but neither did Hal Ulen enter his best men in each event. Nevertheless, the varsity's weakness off the board was evident, as it could only place third in the high dive.

Captain Charley Egan led his team in scoring by swimming the 150-yard individual medley for the first time this year, tying one teammate, Mary Sandler, for first place, and then leading another, Duke Geer, to the finish in the 440-yard free style.

Pete Macky won the 150-yard individual medley and the 100 free style as the freshmen won their fourth straight, topping Deerfield Academy, 42 to 23.
