Aldrich Recommended to Bench

Bailey Aldrich '28, leading Boston attorney, has been recommended by Senator Saltonstall for appointment by President Eisenhower to a new Massachusetts federal judgeship.

The 47-year-old attorney was described by the senator as "one of the ablest trial lawyers in the country." He has long been supported for the bench by the American Bar Association.

Saxe to Be on TV

Stephen O. Saxe '51, a third year student at the Yale Dramatic School, will be interviewed on Omnibus, a CBS television show, Sunday afternoon. He designed the sets for the School's current production of "The Mery Wives of Windsor."

Korn Wins Award

David Korn '54 of Providence, R.I. and Lowell House will receive this year's Palfrey Exhibition award as "the most distinguished scholar in the Senior Class who is a recipient of a stipendiary scholarship."

Korn, elected to Phi Beta Kappa last fall, is a concentrator in the biochemical sciences and plans to attend the Medical School next year.
