The Undergraduate Athletic Council last night formally approved the revised constitution of the Managers' Council--a group of junior and senior sports managers revived this winter to cement ties between players, the Athletic Council, and the Harvard Athletic Association.
In passing the constitution the Athletic Council seated Robert H. Weiss '54, newly-elected president of the Executive Committee of the Managers' Council, to represent his group at the Council.
Weiss was chosen president of the Managers' Council Monday night when approximately 25 undergraduate sports managers formally passed a radically revised constitution for the Managers' Council.
Since 1951 the old Council had been inactive. Under Donald M. Felt, Assistant Director of Athletics, a group of managers began rewording the old constitution. Monday night their revisions were approved. The new constitution provides for a nine-man executive committee composed of a president, vice-president, permanent secretary, and six managers.
