Leverett defeated Lowell, 14 to 0, and Kirkland downed Winthrop 13 to 0 in House football games yesterday as inter-House competition began its third week. Leverett's victory was that third straight. Kirkland won for the first time.
Three House football teams--Adams, Dunster, and Leverett--now have three straight victories and no defeats. Eliot Kirkland, and Lowell have each dropped two of their games so far. Dudley and Winthrop have lost three straight.
In soccer games yesterday, Lowell gained its third straight victory by setting back Dudley, 2 to 0, while Leverett beat a weak Adams squad, 6 to 0. Lowell is the only House soccer team still undefeated, and Adams is the only one to lose all three games.
Leverett triumphed over Lowell, 38 to 14, and Winthrop pounded Kirkland, 20 to 6, in the two touch football games yesterday. The Winthrop squad's victory was its third straight.
In the games set for today, Dudley will meet Dunster in football and touch football; Lowell will face Winthrop; and Eliot will play Adams in soccer.
