Scrimmage Improves Varsity Pass Defense

The varsity football team ran through more defensive passing drills yesterday in preparation for the expected serial attack of Dartmouth's star quarterback, Bill Beagle.

The practice has definitely improved the Crimson's pass defense and most of second-string quarterback Phil Houghey's passes were well blocked or intercepted.

participating in scrimmage for the first time this week were wingback Bob Cowles and tackle Orville Tice, both of whom are scheduled to play against the Green tomorrow.
